Lightening

This was a first attempting at capturing lightening. This was one of those last minute opportunities when going outside and encountering a storm moving into the area. A fast dash to the camera room, grabbing what was at hand and getting set up. The problem is, when one sees lightening, it is already too late to snap a picture – what settings should one use: ISO, Time, and F stop? This was a rather fast moving storm, so once I input the settings, every 3 count I would push the button. I did not use a 2 or 10 second timer, so there is camera shake. This is one of the bucket list photos I always wanted to capture. While this is not the best, it was a great learning opportunity for next time. Canon EOS R6Mark II, Canon RF 15-35 F2.8. Set at 35mm, F2.8, 1-second time, and ISO 50. 5/15/2024 @ 2319-hours
